We fought the good fight,

for the right reasons

I would like to thank everyone who supported me by giving time, making contributions, and by voting for me. I met the most wonderful, smartest, most caring and hard-working people on the campaign trail. Not only were you such an amazing help, but you were also an amazing inspiration. The people who stood with me in my race did it for all the right reasons.

I know that you did not do it for me,
personally, but for what I stood for.

I know that you feel the need to
preserve the Constitution and our
American way of life just as much as
I do.

I know you believe, just as I do,
that we need to end this war in Iraq
without further deliberation or loss
of blood.

There are so many critical needs, like national universal health care, the protection of American jobs, and a first class education for all of our children. These are issues I will always be fighting for, if not in Congress then in any way I possibly can.

I hope that Dennis Shulman fights for these things because now, more than ever, we need strong leaders who are not afraid to fight for what is right for the people, regardless of its political popularity. It has been my goal to do whatever it takes -- not only fighting to bring these issues to the forefront, and fighting for the people impacted by our current administration's failures and shortcomings, but also to unseat Scott Garrett.

Dr. Shulman is now going to attempt to retire Garrett from his seat and from his abuse of our rights. To Dennis Shulman I send the best of wishes and my full support. I ask all of my supporters to do what you can for him. I hope that he fights for all that I have been so passionate about in this bid for Congress. We will be in touch. Thanks again, for all your help and support.

Regards,

Camille Abate

I've always been there for you ...
and I always will be.

Dedicated to the Democratic Party, Camille has over 17 years of experience serving in leadership roles on campaigns from Mario Cuomo for Governor to Dean for America. Camille will bring her experience and passion to the fight against right wing Republican Scott Garrett.

"I am running for Congress because the people of New Jersey's 5th District need a new and honest voice to defend them in Washington. I will fight to restore America's Constitutional freedoms because, like you, I believe our children deserve to grow up unafraid with a government that is still of the people, by the people and for the people."
-- Camille Abate

"Camille is the kind of person we need in Congress…Camille is dedicated to the ideals of the Democratic Party, has fought for, and will continue to fight for those ideals."
-- Sheriff Jerry Spezial

Some men say, let me make a lot of money, then I will turn to higher things. I have known many such men, and they never lived long enough to turn to higher things, although some of them lived very long.
